Team SAP
Hailing from St Gerald’s School in Castlebar, Team SAP Ireland is comprised of budding entrepreneurs Donnchadh Barry (18), Luke Benson (17) and Paul Mc Donagh (17), were mentored by teacher Declan Askin.The team's project, iCollapse, is a mobile app that detects when a person has fallen, triggers and alarm and presents a contact number for a friend or family member to alert them of the situation. BT Young Scientist Winners 2012, Team SAP were also winners of the Smart Futures Digital content competition chosen as overall winners of the European e-Skills Young Entrepreneurship competition. Team SAP picked up a Silver CREST award by the British Science Association for the research project. BT Young Scientist Winners 2012, the list goes on.
